How do you stay in Australia through a work contract?

We hear a lot about the sponsorship opportunities in Australia, or the possibility of linking one's stay in the country to a work contract. This is just one of the ways to succeed over time in getting a stay in Australia.

The famous sponsorship visa (Temporary Work Skilled Visa subclass 457) was revised and updated in April 2017.

The 457 was replaced by the TSS (Temporary Skills Shortage), which was divided into two streams: one short term (short term) and one long term (long term). The famous SOL (Skilled Occupation List) and CSOL (Consolidated Skilled Occupation List) lists have been updated and renamed and the sponsorship system is now based on two lists:
